Product Description
Self-piercing riveting machine, also called riveting gun, is applied for busbar assembly. It can be customized according to different busbar housing. Before riveting, operator does not need to drill the hole. Machine can realize self-piercing riveting by its pressure and rivet structure.
Working principal of joining sheet metal with element:
The metal-layers are placed between the stripper and the die. With the motion of the punch, the rivet cuts through the first layer. Based on the shape of the die and the rivet, the rivet spreads into the die side layer. Check out the diagram below for a visual on how the self-pierce riveting (SPR) process works.
With the development of the industrial technology, Kiande developed the riveting machines to realize the connection instead of original connection by bolts, welding or glues between metals, metal and nonmetal, and nonmetal and nonmetal thin sheets. This kind of connection will have strong strength and improve the working efficiency and safety. No drilling operation will help to avoid the process of removing the drilling chips, deburring and etc.
- Workmanship description
The riveting machine is to connect two or above parts together by the high voltage Hydraulic press system. The system will use the strong push and high speed to connect the parts and rivet forming will be by achieved by the down molds. - Advantages
